Résumé


While the Carolingian empire is puzzling, the city of Vienne starts to play a major
regional role, becoming the capital city of the new Kingdom of Provence. The Bosonids, start
minting in their name. But this royal coinage will not be very long, the mint of Vienne being
transferred to the very master of the city: the archbishop.
