Simbología monetal: feluses omeyas orientales y moneda judía. Estudio comparativo.

Résumé


El presente artículo analiza los símbolos iconográficos que figuran en los feluses omeyas orientales que fueron previamente símbolos monetales hebreos. Se examina su aparición tanto en la moneda hebrea como en la omeya, así como el valor simbólico de dicha iconografía tanto en el judaísmo como en el islam, con el fin de poder aportar una nueva perspectiva que pueda contribuir a explicar la razón de la aparición de estos símbolos en la moneda omeya.
